I’m Ian,

and I am a Red Seal certified automotive technician based in Vancouver, BC, with a hands-on background that’s been a big part of my path so far.

Curiosity eventually pulled me toward technology. I like building clean, simple static websites and keeping things straightforward and easy to use.

Outside of work, I enjoy staying active and getting outdoors with my dog and friends. I'm into music, movies, video games, and technology, and I play a wide range of sports—mainly hockey, along with snowboarding, volleyball, basketball, and golf.

Over time, that mindset became second nature. Diagnosing problems, thinking through solutions, and taking pride in doing things properly the first time.

It’s more than just turning wrenches. It’s discipline, responsibility, and building trust through consistency.

I didn’t set out to become a web developer. It started as curiosity and quickly turned into something I genuinely enjoy. I’ve always been interested in how things function, and building websites felt like a natural extension of that.

I focus on clean, fast static sites that are simple and purposeful. No unnecessary complexity, just thoughtful structure and performance built in from the start.

The mindset is the same as working on vehicles. Understand the problem, think it through, and build it properly the first time.
